Information about the organisations of the project

The project is implemented by a strong partnership of 3 organisations from Portugal, Romania, and Cyprus. Together, they combine expertise in digital communication, youth engagement, NGO development, inclusion, and capacity building.

Associação Nó Górdio (Portugal)

Project Coordinator

Nó Górdio is a Portuguese NGO specialising in community development, youth work, strategic communication and organizational strengthening. With solid experience in Erasmus+ and capacity-building projects, Nó Górdio supports NGOs in developing sustainable structures and impactful practices.

Role in the project

  • Coordinates the entire SYL project

  • Ensures financial and administrative management

  • Oversees communication between partners

  • Leads the Organizational Development chapter of the Handbook

  • Hosts the Kick-off Meeting and Final Conference

HESSA (Romania)

Training & Digital Communication Lead

HESSA specializes in branding, marketing, digital storytelling, and youth worker training. The organisation is known for its expertise in communication strategies, social media presence, and capacity-building for NGOs and young people.

Role in the project

  • Leads the international Training of Trainers in Romania

  • Develops the main structure of the Digital Training Guide (Handbook)

  • Responsible for Risk Management

  • Provides expertise in digital branding and communication

  • Coordinates training design and creative storytelling approaches

ACPELIA (Cyprus)

Quality & Community Engagement Lead

ACPELIA is an organisation active in youth empowerment, environmental education, inclusion, volunteer management, and community projects. They work extensively with disadvantaged youth and NGOs needing support in engagement strategies.

Role in the project

  • Responsible for Quality Assurance & Evaluation of project activities

  • Leads the Volunteer & Community Engagement chapter of the Handbook

  • Designs and delivers the local training in Cyprus

  • Supports the monitoring and mentoring of participating NGOs
