Kick-off Meeting in Portugal
October 9–12, 2025
From October 9th to 12th, Nó Górdio welcomed the partners of the Erasmus+ KA2 project "Digital NGOs Speaking Youth Language (SYL)" to Portugal for the official Kick-off Meeting. This first meeting brought together Albino Pereira and Mariana Pereira from Nó Górdio, Gita Vaskelyte from ACPELIA (Cyprus), and Eddy Hilitanu and Elena Turcan from HESSA (Romania).

During the meeting, partners aligned the project's calendar, roles, responsibilities, and work methods, and confirmed essential decisions such as the management distribution (financial, quality, risk), the use of shared tools (Google Drive + shared tracker), and the milestone-based coordination system. The dates for the Training of Trainers in Romania (23–28 April 2026) were also officially confirmed.
The project aims to support NGOs working with youth in their digital transformation—helping them strengthen communication strategies, develop creative online visibility, and engage young people more effectively. Partners also reviewed the timeline for the Guide development, local trainings, and the Final Conference in Portugal.
Together, the consortium committed to enhancing youth workers' digital skills, improving NGOs' communication capacity, and promoting active and safe digital citizenship across Portugal, Romania, and Cyprus.
